2003
I
developed a taste for bodybuilding actually in the year of 2001.
I heard about the book “Body for Life” from Bill
Phillips. I purchased it and followed his 12 week program and
participated in his challenge. I immediately noticed a huge difference
in the way I looked and my self confidence also increased dramatically.
I was working out and staying fit and healthy, but I felt it
was time to take my training to another step in 2003.
This
is really the year where it all truly began. I identified my choice
of a personal chosen amateur sport in that of Bodybuilding, along
with those goals & vision.
I
decided to take my diet and training to the next level, and I hired
my first personal trainer this year.
My Bodybuilding competition goals were now in place, and I knew
then that I would be competing one day & hopefully winning!
So, I then began training diligently for my first competition.
I competed, and placed first that year and became the "2003
NPC Master’s Florida Women over 30’s Champion" in
Tampa-Fl.
2004
In
February 2004, I met with a new personal trainer, Tim Gardner to
consult with him and see if he could help in my own preparations
for the next level of competitions.
He conducted a personal assessment for me that day along with some
guidance on how to accomplish my goals. I then decided to hire him
as a trainer and joined Team Body*Tech.
Incorporating his views and guidance into my own training and workout
routine I had established, I felt I was ready to move forward.
Through my own dedication, desire and self perseverance I was able
to compete again at the ‘2004 Hurricane Bay and was runner
up in the Women's Lightweight Division’.
After the Hurricane Bay, I entered in the Junior Florida in West
Palm Beach. I won the ‘Lightweight Division for Women over
30’ and then won the ‘Overall over 30 Title’.
2005
This
year I competed in ‘Bodybuilding & Women’s Figure’ in
the NPC.
I am proud to state that I was able to reach all of my 2005 goals
and walk away with a better understanding and view of what it takes
to not just compete, win or loose, but also to refine my skills
and the true dedication required to reach another plateau in this
sport.
My heart felt thanks goes out to my best friend and promoter Richard,
my former trainer Tim for 2004 & 2005, all of my family, coworkers
, fellow teammates, the gyms I train at and hail from, and all
of my supporters, you are all the true champions and winners in
my eyes.

Each of you individually possess so many special personal gifts
and talents, I thank you for sharing them with me and believing
in my dreams. Your support, views, guidance, competitive nature,
winning personalities and drive have been my inspiration in all
five of my 2005 competitions.
With that combination, I was also graced with the good health and
personal ability to take home “10 more Titles and Placing’s” in “Women's
Bodybuilding & Figure Competitions”.
'Dino & Shawna'-Thanks so much for the long journeys to watch
me compete and all of the support.

2006
My Competition Season has arrived!
I
am training for this 2006 season. Part of that newly re-focused preparation
this new year has led to my own personal commitment to continue on
with my new competitions and goals in ‘Women’s Bodybuilding and Figure’ in the NPC.
I am equally as proud to announce that I have engaged the professional services of a new ‘Coach and Personal Trainer’, who is also a fellow 'NPC Champion' and Competitor, Debbie Callahan of “DEBS GYM”. I look forward to our new forged relationship and learning from one of the best trainers in the industry.
My thank you goes to Tim for his assistance while I trained & competed as a NPC amateur competitor and former member of Team Body*Tech.
I again wish the best to all of my fellow NPC Competitors both in the State Of Florida and Nationally this year in each of your individual fitness goals.
- My 2006 Competition Schedule to be Announced -
See you all on Stage….….It’s time for me to kick it up a Notch!!
"Remember regardless of the outcome in any competition,
you are all champions the minute you walk on stage” JT
-Thank you to my Webmaster Mike Conway @ TecTao Designs for all
of his support & vision
